The Retrofit Uni-INwall M is an in-wall adapter designed to mount devices nearly flush to interior walls – it secures a device while allowing easy insertion and removal. The unit provides a low-profile external cover that sits 4mm from the finished wall surface. This product is aimed at AV integrators and installers who need a tidy flush appearance for shallow equipment.

Key features include a magnetic cover that attaches to the retrofit base, hidden ventilation grilles integrated into the cover, and a painted white finish that blends with most interiors. The kit contains inner interchangeable side plates to accept keystone inserts and conduit knockouts. The adapter also supports standard switch boxes such as the Hubbell-Raco 420 or equivalent.

Technical details include support for devices up to 213x336x85mm and accommodation for board thicknesses from 10mm to 19mm. The outer cover is 4mm thick from the wall face to achieve the nearly flush look. The main assembly is constructed from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI for indoor installations.

Connectivity and compatibility are managed via the supplied interchangeable inner plates that enable up to four keystone inserts and conduit connectors in 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ sizes. The adapter kit provides the mechanical interface between the device and the wall mount while allowing space for a Hubbell-Raco 420 switch box where required.
