Description
The PTC-325G is a 4K PTZ camera engineered for professional AV, broadcast, and live production environments. It captures UHD 3840 x 2160 video up to 60 fps and provides precise pan, tilt, and 30x optical zoom control. The camera includes an auto tracking algorithm to follow a designated subject reliably.
Key camera features include 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, and NDI|HX3 network output available simultaneously, along with PoE 802.3af support for single-cable installation. The integrated lens delivers 4.5 to 135mm focal length with f/1.8 to 4.7 aperture and up to 16x digital zoom for close-ups. Tally lights and a 3.5mm mic/line input are included for production workflows.
Image quality is driven by a 1/2.8″-type CMOS sensor with an effective 8.46 megapixel resolution and a shutter range from 1/10000 to 1/30 second. The camera implements 3D noise reduction and a PID-based PTZ speed adaptation to keep lens motion smooth and reduce jerky movement. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lux and the signal-to-noise ratio is 55 dB.
Streaming and network support include NDI|HX3, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, ONVIF, and multicast, plus H.264/H.265/MJPEG encoding options for flexible workflows. The camera supports VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D, Pelco-P, DVIP, and ONVIF control protocols and exposes RS-232/RS-422 over RJ45 for serial control. Simultaneous multi-stream rates range from 0.03 to 50.00 Mb/s.
Typical applications include lecture capture, conference rooms, houses of worship, live events, and remote production where discreet, high-resolution imaging and automated subject tracking are needed. The designated-person tracking mode allows the camera to ignore background movement and focus on one presenter. Tally indicators and program/preview status simplify multi-camera production coordination.
Installation is simplified with PoE power or the included 12 VDC adapter and a ceiling mount bracket set; a 1/4″-20 thread is provided for tripod mounting. The camera measures 219 x 189.08 x 173 mm and operates between 0 and 40 C. Firmware updates are applied via USB-A and the unit supports common audio codecs including AAC, MP3, and PCM for embedded audio.
