KN1132VB KVM over IP Switch

The KN1132VB KVM over IP switch provides local console and remote over IP access for users to monitor and access their entire data center over a network. The KN series offers superior FHD video resolution up to 1920 x 1200, virtual media transmissions at double speed, and FIPS 140-2 level 1 security standards by using an embedded FIPS 140-2 certified OpenSSL cryptographic module.

Equipped with dual on-board NICs, the KN series ensures high reliability and availability of remote access to all servers. It can be remotely accessed via WinClient or JavaClient from a separated location for management and operation. ATEN also provides an iOS app – PadClient – allowing users to connect and control computers directly from an iPad.

This KVM switch provides out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting when the network is down. IT administrators can manage servers, storage, routers, and switches via management networks that are separate from production networks.

Out-of-band access methods include a local console connection, USB console connection from a laptop, PSTN modem connection, or a dedicated management network via Ethernet (LAN).

The KN series integrates with ATEN’s CC2000 Centralized Management Software, delivering improved usability through consolidated data, task-based navigation, and simplified menus.

It is also compatible with ATEN’s KA82 series KVM over IP Console Stations, providing secure, PC-free access in restricted environments. Additionally, the KN series works with ATEN PDU remote power management systems via the KVM user interface.

Exclusive features include Message Board, Panel Array Mode, Mouse DynaSync™, and Adapter ID. These capabilities help administrators manage data centers from virtually anywhere, reducing travel time and MTTR while maximizing service availability.
