The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 is a compact broadcast camera engineered for live production and remote streaming – it combines a 4K sensor, a 7 inch HDR touchscreen and professional I/O in a lightweight body. It is designed to integrate with SDI switchers and IP workflows while providing high dynamic range and Blackmagic RAW recording for postproduction flexibility. Operators get familiar camera controls plus remote control and return monitoring when connected to production switchers.
Key features include a 17.78 x 10 mm Four Thirds CMOS sensor, 12G-SDI outputs, a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port that carries video/tally/talkback and PoE, and dual USB-C expansion ports for external recording or accessories. The camera supports Blackmagic RAW recording in 4K at common frame rates up to 60 fps and includes an onboard DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector for improved live images. Physical controls and an HDR touchscreen provide easy access to exposure, LUTs and presets.
Imaging performance delivers 13 stops of dynamic range and a broad ISO range from 100 to 25,600 with native ISO options for studio and low-light environments. The sensor resolution records 3840 x 2160 and supports frame rates from 23.98 up to 60 fps. Gain, white balance and shutter settings are adjustable on the unit or remotely over SDI or Ethernet, preserving image consistency across a multi-camera production.
Connectivity includes 12G-SDI program and return, HDMI monitoring with tally, two XLR microphone/line inputs with phantom power, a 5-pin XLR talkback connector, and a 10GbE RJ45 port for single-cable SMPTE-style workflows. The Ethernet connection supports video, camera control, tally, talkback and PoE when paired with a Studio Converter at the switcher. Dual USB-C ports enable direct recording to external drives or attachment of lens control demands.
