The DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor is a compact hardware editing console designed to accelerate timeline work in DaVinci Resolve Studio. It pairs a tactile Search Dial and dedicated transport controls with 43 pre-labeled keys to reduce dependence on mouse-driven edits. The unit is small enough for location work while providing the essential controls editors need for fast cutting and trimming.

Key features include a machined metal Search Dial for precise jog and shuttle, dedicated transition and edit mode buttons, and dedicated function keys for snap, markers, and viewer control. The panel provides shortcuts for Cut, Dissolve, Smooth Cut, Smart Insert, Append to End, Close-Up, Ripple Overwrite, Place on Top, and Source Overwrite.
