The HD-PA35X is a compact single-zone 35 W Class D power amplifier designed to deliver efficient amplified audio with low heat dissipation. It accepts an unbalanced stereo-summing RCA input and provides front-panel input gain and bass and treble tone controls. The unit includes a worldwide 24 Vdc power supply and a front-panel power/standby pushbutton.
Key features include a high-efficiency Class D output stage, a built-in analog compressor/limiter, and VCA-compatible remote level control. The compressor prevents clipping under overload conditions while preserving program dynamics, and a front-panel LED indicates compressor activity. Output impedance can be switched for 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers to match system requirements.

Indicator LEDs show signal presence, compressor activity, and power state for quick status checks.
Typical applications include paging and background music zones, additional reinforcement for existing mixer-amplifier systems, and small meeting rooms where compact size and low thermal output are required. The analog compressor enables higher average output levels and clearer speech intelligibility when compared to a non-compressed amplifier of similar power rating.
