The HD-MA35AX is a compact mixer amplifier designed to deliver background music, paging, and music-on-hold in small to medium installations. This unit provides two amplifier zones including a 35 W main zone and a 2 W secondary zone. The product ships with a worldwide 24 Vdc power supply for global deployments.
Key features include three shared inputs with individual level controls, front-panel bass and treble tone controls for the main zone, and automatic or manual priority ducking via VOX or contact closure. The main zone uses a high-efficiency Class D output stage and includes an analog compressor/limiter to preserve audio fidelity and prevent clipping. Remote master level control is available via VCA 0 to 10 Vdc or optional RDL wall controls.
Performance specifications include a 35 W RMS constant-voltage main output selectable for 25 V, 70 V, or 100 V systems and a 2 W RMS 8 Ohm secondary output that also provides a 600 Ohm transformer-balanced MOH output. Frequency responses and noise figures are tuned for clear voice and music reproduction, and THD+N is kept below 0.5 percent at the compressor threshold. The compressor provides dynamic time constants and a threshold set 2 dB below rated output to increase average loudness while preventing clipping.
Connectivity is flexible with a balanced mic/line input on a detachable terminal block and two RCA unbalanced stereo inputs summed to mono. Balanced line outputs on a detachable terminal block allow feeding other equipment or amplifiers, and a ground-referenced 24 Vdc output is provided to power optional external RDL modules. Front- and rear-panel controls and indicators make setup and daily operation straightforward.

The unit supports paging priority over background sources and supplies music-on-hold outputs for telephony integration. Installation is installer-friendly with detachable terminal blocks for balanced inputs and outputs, RCA inputs for line sources, front-panel user controls for Zone 1, and rear-panel trimmers for Zone 2. The included universal 100 to 240 Vac power supply delivers regulated 24 Vdc to the amplifier housing. The HD-MA35AX is built and tested in the U.S.A. and includes thermal and short-circuit protection for reliable continuous operation.
