Description

The EZ-VDA3BX is a compact composite video distribution amplifier designed to accept a single composite input and deliver three identical composite outputs. It preserves video integrity while providing level and equalization adjustments at the front panel – enabling signal restoration when driving long coaxial runs. The unit operates with both NTSC and PAL color standards to support worldwide formats.

Key features include gold-plated BNC connectors, front-panel GAIN and EQ trimmers, and a 75 ohm terminated input to maintain correct impedance matching. The amplifier offers adjustable gain from unity to +6 dB and adjustable equalization to compensate cable attenuation. A wide bandwidth greater than 400 MHz supports high quality video and low signal distortion.

Performance metrics include differential gain and phase well below common thresholds and very low residual noise levels. Differential gain is specified at less than 0.1 percent and differential phase at less than 0.1 degree – values that help preserve color fidelity.
