Description
The EZ-MX4LX is a compact stereo line-level audio mixer designed to combine up to four stereo sources into a single stereo output. It provides front-panel level controls and left/right LED VU metering to simplify level matching and maintain optimal headroom. The mixer accepts both RCA and 3.5 mm mini-jack inputs for flexible connection to consumer and pro audio devices.
The unit features four independent input level controls that offer up to 12 dB of gain and an output capable of +16 dBV maximum level. Dual-LED VU meters for left and right channels are calibrated to -10 dBV output to make visual level setting straightforward. Gold-plated RCA connectors ensure reliable signal transfer and resistance to corrosion.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 10 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.01 dB) and THD+N below 0.05%, which preserve audio accuracy across the audible band. Crosstalk is specified at better than -72 dB at 1 kHz and noise is below -85 dB referenced to -10 dBV output, delivering clean summing of multiple sources. The mixer is engineered with exceptional headroom for an unbalanced design and can tolerate high input levels up to +20 dBV.
Connectivity is straightforward with four unbalanced RCA line inputs plus an additional stereo mini-jack input and a stereo output available on RCA or mini-jack. The front-panel level controls and rear connectors make it compatible with consumer components, pro audio gear, playback devices and recording chains. The unit is powered by an external 24 Vdc supply and draws 30 mA idle and up to 60 mA maximum.
The EZ-MX4LX is commonly used in small studios, houses of worship, retail and hospitality environments where simple mixing of multiple line sources is required. It is also suitable for AV installs, broadcast utility racks and location setups that need a small-footprint mixer with visual metering. Its 1/3 rack width format allows placement on a desk, rack shelf or integration into compact equipment racks.
