The EZ-AFC2X is a compact stereo bi-directional audio converter that converts unbalanced consumer-level signals to professional balanced outputs and balanced signals to unbalanced outputs. It is designed to bridge consumer and professional audio equipment with precise level control and reliable metering. The unit offers front-panel access and rackable mounting in a 1/3 rack width form factor for tight installations.

Key features include front-panel unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, rear-panel balanced XLR connections, independent level controls, and dual LED VU metering for left and right channels. The converter provides up to 12 dB of gain and selectable nominal levels to match a wide range of sources. Gold-plated connectors and engineered circuitry deliver improved headroom and extended frequency response.

Technical performance includes frequency response from 10 Hz to 50 kHz with ±0.01 dB deviation, extremely low distortion, and high channel separation. The unbalanced to balanced path offers THD+N below 0.01% while the balanced to unbalanced path measures below 0.003%.
