Description
The CM82-EZ-II-WH from Soundtube is a coaxial, 8-inch, 2-way, blind-mount, In-ceiling speaker which
transmits high performance throughout the operating bandwidth. The in-ceiling speaker features an 8-
inch polypropylene driver plus a butyl rubber enclosure in a sealed drawn steel backcan, and the
speaker distributes maximum frequency response (65 Hz – 22 kHz, – 10 dB) in a compact enclosure
design.
The unit features a mounting hardware and also a constant-tension, fixed-wing mounting system plus a
21-gauge “full-metal” steel tile bridge enabling quick and secure installation in any drop-tile or
sheetrock application. For easy installation, ordering, and stocking, the series comprises a color-
coded (green) tile bridge, redundant pre-construction bracket, and 6-position tap switch for 100-,
70.7-, and 25-volt applications with transformer bypass position.
