Description
The Kramer PT-580T is an HDBaseT twisted pair transmitter for extending HDMI signals
long distances. The unit routes an HDMI input to a twisted pair signal. An HDBaseT
extender such as the TP-580R or WP-580R transforms the twisted pair signal back into
an HDMI signal, and they both form a transmitter-receiver pair.
HDMI support includes Deep Color, lip-sync, uncompressed audio channels, Dolby
TrueHD, and DTS-H. The unit extends signals up to 70m (230ft) via BC-HDKat6a cables.
It has a maximum data rate of 10.2Gbps, HDTV Compatible, and it is HDCP Compliant.
HDBaseT Technology certifies the PT-580T. It features 3D Pass-Through and EDID
Pass-Through. You can rack mount four (4) units of the ultra-slim PT-580T
side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-4PT rack adapter.
Typical applications include projection systems in boardrooms, conference rooms,
auditoriums, churches and hotels, production studios, rental, and staging.
