Description
The CATX-DP-USBA Display Port Computer Access Modules are ultra-slim devices that
enable you to transmit your DisplayPort equipped computer via CATX cable up to a
distance of up to 300 meters. The CAM connects to the DisplayPort video connector as
well as USB and Audio ports on your computer and then links via CAT cabling to the
AdderView CATx KVM switches or Adder extender receivers (Rx) (either AdderLink X2
Silver or X200). The user’s video display, mice, keyboard, and speakers are then all
connected to the remote unit. During power up, the module will check the EDID
information available from the KVM switch or extender that is linked to the monitor
and connects it back to the computer. The CAM allows low speed (1Mb/s) HID USB
products only. The CATX-DP-USBA also provides two (2) channel CD Quality audio with
support via a 3.5mm jack plug.
