The GefenTV Dual Link DVI-to-Mini DP Converter is compatible with
all PC and Mac computers using dual link DVI graphics. The Converter
supports resolutions up to 2560×1600. It features Plug n Play for
viewing DVI dual link video via the Mini DisplayPort interface with
audio support. You can also the unit with displays via standard
DisplayPort connections with an optional Mini DisplayPort to
DisplayPort cable. The unit provides audio support through the built-
in 3.5mm audio connector. Use the Mini DP Out connector on the unit to
feed the audio output. With the USB, the unit features upgradable
firmware. It features EDID switch button to manually select the three
(3) EDID modes: 2560×1600, 2560×1440, or pass-through. Power the unit
using the included USB cable.

How It Works

Connect your DVI source to the Converter via an optional dual link
DVI cable to the unit’s DVI In connector. With a Mini DisplayPort
cable (purchase separately), attach the cable to the display’s Mini
DisplayPort input from the Converter’s Mini DP Out jack. Use the EDID
button located on the front panel to select from the three (3)
different EDID modes: 2560×1600, 2560×1440, or pass-through. Choose
the suitable EDID mode based on the abilities of the connected
display. The particular EDID Mode LED glows to show selected mode.
Connect the optional audio cable from your PC’s audio output jack to
the Converter’s Audio In jack. Attach the included USB cable from the
PC’s USB port to the Converter’s USB (USB For Power) jack.
