The EXT-DVI-FM500 is a DVI FM 500 Extender (Transmitter/
Receiver) Kit with built-in DVI-to-fiber signal converters
and EDID storage in a compact solution. Ideal for use in
Computer A/V, Home Theater, and Digital Signage. The DVI-
FM500 Extender allows reliable and secure extension of your
DVI source up to 5,000 ft away utilizing a 100% fiber optic
extension solution. Portable and attractive DVI-to-fiber
modules link to each other via just two (2) LC fiber optic
cable strands. Extender devices fit neatly behind equipment
for a neat installation. The EDID programming feature allows
quick and precise synchronization of the video resolution to
the display with no manual configuration. It is an excellent
way to distribute DVI quickly and cleanly.
