The Portacapture X6 is a compact portable audio recorder built to capture high-resolution audio in the field. It combines 32-bit float recording, up to 96 kHz sampling, and a 2.4-inch color touchscreen to streamline capture workflows. The unit supports six simultaneous tracks and intuitive app-like operation for fast setup and reliable results.

Key features include two XLR inputs with 24V/48V phantom power, dual selectable AB/true-X/Y built-in microphones, and 32-bit float processing that preserves dynamic range without manual gain adjustments. The recorder can handle four discrete inputs plus two stereo mixes and functions as a 6-in/2-out USB audio interface. Technically the X6 records WAV (BWF) at 44.1/48/96 kHz in 16/24-bit and 32-bit float formats and MP3 at common bitrates.
