Description
The IF-ST2110 is an expansion interface card that adds SMPTE ST 2110 audio-over-IP capability to Sonicview 24 and Sonicview 16 systems. It provides native ST2110-30/31 and AES67 support for low-latency uncompressed audio streams. The card is designed to integrate into IP studio and broadcast environments where channel density and redundancy are required.
The IF-ST2110 supports up to 64 input and 64 output channels at 48 kHz and up to 32 input and 32 output channels at 96 kHz. It implements ST2022-7 redundancy and NMOS IS-04/05 for discovery and registration. A built-in WebUI is included for configuration and monitoring, including point-to-point stream control.
On the performance side the card supports 16-bit, 24-bit and 32-bit integer audio resolution and selectable packet times including 1 ms and 125 usec. Buffer time is adjustable from 250 usec to 32 ms to match network latency budgets. The card is PTP-capable and supports AES67 timing, IEEE 1588-2008 and SMPTE ST 2059-2 for synchronization.
Connectivity includes two dedicated media ports for redundant ST2022-7 stream pairs plus an independent control port for configuration and NMOS control. All network ports use RJ-45 1000BASE-T Ethernet links and support SSM multicast and IGMPv3. The WebUI provides an accessible interface for point-to-point stream setup and real-time status monitoring.
The IF-ST2110 is intended for IP studio systems, remote production workflows and OB vehicle integration where high channel counts and deterministic audio transport are required. It supports dense channel aggregation for console I/O and multichannel distribution across IP networks. Use cases include live production facilities, remote mix engines and broadcast contribution systems.
Installation is straightforward as a single optional card for Sonicview 16 and Sonicview 24 systems – only one IF-ST2110 can be installed per unit. The compact card is engineered to meet broadcast reliability expectations and includes diagnostic LEDs and a WebUI for monitoring. Firmware updates and NMOS integration enable ongoing compatibility and management in professional AV networks.
