Description
The UHDA-IN2-F16 is a two-channel HDMI input card designed for modular multi-format digital matrix switchers. It accepts two HDMI video sources and provides selectable embedded audio, analog de-embedding, or ARC on the upper port. The card delivers up to 4K60 (4:2:0) video and integrates EDID capture and Kramer signal conditioning to ensure reliable signal integrity.
Key features include selectable ARC, embedded or de-embedded unbalanced stereo audio on a single 3.5mm jack, and support for 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) signals. The module supports 3D pass-through, deep color, x.v.Color, and major high-definition audio formats. It implements Kramer equalization and re-klocking to stabilize and restore incoming HDMI signals.
Performance highlights include a total data rate of 8.91Gbps and 2.97Gbps per graphics channel. The card is HDCP 1.4 compliant and supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD and up to 7.1 multi-channel audio formats. EDID capture copies and stores the display EDID so sources present compatible output timing and formats.
Connectivity is provided by two HDMI inputs and two analog audio mini jacks, with ARC available on the upper HDMI port. The HDMI interface supports 3D, Deep Color and x.v.Color, ensuring broad compatibility with professional displays and AV sources. The card is HDTV compatible and supports standard HDMI audio formats for integrated audio workflows.
Typical applications include professional display systems requiring video routing, broadcast and production monitoring, presentation facilities and rental/staging environments. The module is tailored to integrate into Kramer VS-1616 series modular matrices and similar chassis systems.
