Description
The UHD-OUT2-F16 is a two-channel HDMI output card designed for modular matrix switcher chassis. It provides two independent HDMI outputs capable of delivering up to 4K60 (4:2:0) video. The card is engineered to integrate into the VS-1616 Series modular multi-format digital matrix switchers and extend HDMI signal distribution from the chassis.
The output card supports advanced HDMI features such as 3D pass-through, Deep Color and x.v.Color. It also carries multi-channel audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD as well as 7.1 channel audio. EDID capture and storage is built in to simplify display handshakes and ensure reliable output timing.
Performance is specified at a total data rate of 8.91 Gbps with 2.97 Gbps available per graphics channel. The UHD-OUT2-F16 supports HDCP 1.4 compliance and HDTV formats to match common professional displays. Kramer equalization and re-clocking technology help preserve signal integrity over practical HDMI cable lengths.
Connectivity includes two HDMI outputs and EDID capture functionality for each output. Maximum recommended ranges are 10m (32ft) for 4K60 (4:2:0) or 4K30 (4:4:4) and 15m (49ft) for 1080p 12-bit deep color, depending on cable and display. The card is compatible with a wide range of display devices and audio/video formats used in broadcast and presentation environments.
