Description
The HDCP-OUT2-F16 is a two-channel HDCP HDMI over DVI output card designed for modular Frame 16 matrix systems. It provides two independent HDMI/HDCP outputs carried over DVI-D connectors and is intended to expand output capacity in a compact card format. The card supports modern HDMI features while maintaining HDCP compliance for protected content.
Key features include per-channel bandwidth of 2.25Gbps and a total data rate of 6.75Gbps, 3D pass-through capability, and DVI-D connector compatibility. The module supports standard HDMI signaling and enforces HDCP for secure content distribution. Power consumption is low at 5W which helps minimize system power draw.
Performance specifications include a maximum total data rate of 6.75Gbps and per-channel bandwidth of 2.25Gbps. The card supports 3D pass-through and standard HDMI video formats within those bandwidth limits. Environmental operating ranges are 0° to +40°C and storage ranges are -40° to +70°C, with humidity tolerance from 10% to 90% RHL non-condensing.
Connectivity is provided via two DVI-D connectors on DVI Molex 24-pin (F) interfaces, allowing direct connection to DVI or HDMI sinks using appropriate cabling. The card complies with HDCP and HDMI standards and carries CE and FCC safety regulatory compliance. Environmental regulatory compliance includes RoHs and WEEE requirements where applicable.
Common use cases include conference room systems, staging and rental installations, and any modular digital matrix deployment requiring secure HDMI outputs. The card integrates into VS-1616 Series chassis to add two HDMI/HDCP outputs without changing the host matrix architecture. It is suitable for AV systems that require protected content distribution and 3D support.
Installation is straightforward in Kramer Frame 16 chassis with standard card slot insertion and chassis-level control. The card is compact and lightweight, measuring 19.00cm x 13.00cm x 2.00cm and designed for professional AV racks and enclosures. The HDCP-OUT2-F16 offers a simple expansion path for integrators needing additional HDCP-protected outputs.
