Description
The SU13KAS is a high-brightness RGBX laser projector designed to deliver large-venue visual experiences with accurate color reproduction and long run times. It uses an ALPD 5.0 full-color laser engine to achieve a wide color gamut and reliable brightness. The projector targets installations that require sustained performance and minimal maintenance.
Key features include an RGBX full-spectrum laser light source, a color gamut exceeding 110% of Rec.709, and dynamic contrast rated at >=100,000:1. The optical engine is IP6X rated for dust-proof operation and the unit supports NFC pre-configuration to reduce setup time. Multiple powered lenses are available to match throw requirements across a broad range of installations.
Performance specifications include 4K/WUXGA resolution options, a center brightness range of approximately 11000-15000 lm depending on model and configuration, and a rated laser lifetime of 20000 hours. The projector offers uniformity >=92% and advanced geometric correction with up to 33×33 multi-point adjustment. Built-in cooling and signal backup functions support continuous operation in demanding environments.
Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0 x2 (4K/60P), DVI-D, DP1.2 (4K/60P), and optional HDBaseT 1.0 input for long-distance signal delivery. Control and management are supported via RJ45 Ethernet, RS232 serial, remote IR in/out and USB-B debug port, plus a USB-A expansion port. The Appotronics operating system and control software enable remote management and integration with AV systems.
Typical applications include large auditoriums, museums, themed entertainment and large-scale corporate auditoriums where high brightness, wide color gamut and low maintenance are required. The projector supports advanced edge blending and multi-mode geometric corrections for irregular surfaces and multi-projector arrays. A selection of motorized lenses provides throw ratios from short-throw to telephoto to fit screen sizes from 70” up to 800”.
Installation is simplified by powered optical axis shift (vertical +/-100% horizontal +/-40%) and motorized zoom/focus options for compatible lenses. The unit supports 360 deg installation orientation and operates on 100-240VAC power with configurable power consumption modes. Rugged construction, patented cooling for moving parts and IP6X protection reduce service requirements and extend uptime.
