Description
The Appotronics SK11KAS is a high-brightness RGBX laser projector engineered for large-venue installations and demanding visual applications. It delivers 4K/WUXGA imaging with an expanded color gamut and sustained brightness output. The IP6X rated optical engine and long-life ALPD 5.0 laser source reduce maintenance and downtime.
The projector uses an RGBX full-spectrum laser engine that produces more than 11% red light contribution at 4K/WUXGA resolution. It achieves greater than 110% of Rec.709 color coverage and supports a dynamic contrast ratio of at least 100,000:1. A suite of built-in geometric correction modes and motorized lens options enable accurate alignment on irregular screens.
Technical performance includes DLP projection on a 0.8” DMD panel with resolutions up to 3840×2400 and multiple center brightness tiers up to 15,000lm depending on model and lens. The optical engine provides uniformity above 92% and a rated laser lifetime of approximately 20,000 hours. Noise levels and power consumption vary by model and configuration, with standby below 0.5W in ECO mode.
Connectivity covers dual HDMI 2.0 ports and DP1.2 for 4K/60P sources, DVI-D input, plus optional HDBaseT 1.0 for networked signal distribution. Control interfaces include RJ45, RS232, remote IR in/out and USB-B debug. A USB-A expansion port and a 12V external supply port are also provided for peripheral and control accessories.
Applications include large auditoriums, museum and immersive exhibits, control rooms and rental/staging where high brightness, wide color gamut and robust environmental performance are required. The flexible lens lineup and motorized zoom/focus options support short-throw to long-throw installations. Signal backup and multi-mode geometric correction simplify multi-projector arrays and curved-surface mapping.
Installation and operation are streamlined with NFC pre-configuration, motorized lens alignment, and Appotronics OS for monitoring and remote management. The projector supports 360 degree installation orientation and powered optical axis shift for precise image placement. The rugged internal cooling and signal redundancy enhance reliability in continuous operation environments.
