The SK20KA is a high-brightness 4K DLP laser projector designed for large-venue projection and professional installs. It delivers ultra-clear images at native 3,840 x 2,400 resolution and offers center brightness up to 21,000 lm. The projector is engineered to provide long runtime and stable color performance for demanding applications.
Key features include ALPD 5.0 laser illumination, wide color gamut coverage, and an ultra-high contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The system supports HDR10 and an adaptive HDR algorithm that preserves detail in highlights and shadows. Additional imaging features include a high red ratio for richer colors and flexible 3D DLP-link support.
Technical performance highlights include a 0.8″ DMD panel, 95% uniformity and a sealed optical path for dust protection. The ALPD 5.0 laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours in standard mode and the projector supports multiple laser module backup to limit brightness loss. Optical capabilities include optical axis shift, powered lens shift, keystone correction and a selection of interchangeable lenses.
Connectivity is extensive with DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, SDI, multiple BNCs, HDBaseT, USB and RS232 control ports. The unit provides dual-channel input signal backup and support for wired remote and 3D sync I/O. Network management is supported through APCS and APOS platforms and a Web UI for remote monitoring and maintenance.
The projector is suitable for cinemas, large auditoria, theme-park 3D theaters, museums and exhibition spaces where bright, color-accurate imagery is required. Its built-in geometric correction and edge blending capabilities make it appropriate for multi-projector arrays and curved-surface installations. HDR10 support and a high gamut coverage make it well suited to color-critical presentations and immersive attractions.
Installation and operation are simplified by a relatively compact form factor and a lightweight design for its class. The sealed optical engine and patented inner loop color wheel cooling improve reliability and reduce maintenance needs. Combined with APOS on-screen controls and APCS network management, the SK20KA is designed for fast deployment and long-term operation.
