The SK15KAS is a large-venue projection solution engineered to deliver high-brightness 4K/WUXGA imaging with a wide color gamut. It combines Appotronics ALPD5.0 RGBX full spectrum laser technology with precision optics to reproduce accurate colors and high dynamic range for large screens. This unit is optimized for continuous operation in demanding environments.
Key features include an RGBX full spectrum laser engine, ALPD5.0 light source, and more than 11% red light ratio at 4K/WUXGA resolution. The projector achieves over 110% of Rec.709 color coverage and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1, which improves image depth and color fidelity. A compact chassis supports a full range of optional motorized lenses to match different throw distances.
Performance specifications include 15,000lm center brightness (model-dependent), 3840×2400 and 1920×1200 resolutions, and a laser lifetime rated at approximately 20,000 hours. The optical engine offers >=92% uniformity and supports screen sizes from 70” to 800”. Geometric correction supports corner keystone, trapezoidal, curved surfaces and up to 33×33 multi-point adjustments.
Connectivity covers HDMI2.0 x2 (4K/60P), DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.2 (4K/60P) and optional HDBaseT 1.0 input. Control and integration interfaces include RJ45 Ethernet, RS232 serial, remote IR in/out, USB-B debug and USB-A expansion. 3D SYNC in/out and IR 3D out are provided for 3D synchronization.
The SK15KAS is designed for large auditoriums, cinemas, museums and live event stages where high brightness and color accuracy are required. It suits projection mapping, simulator displays and multi-projector arrays using horizontal and vertical edge blending. Built-in multi-mode geometric correction and motorized lens options simplify alignment across complex surfaces.
Installation and maintenance are streamlined through NFC pre-configuration, powered optical axis shift (vertical +/-100% horizontal +/-40%), and motorized zoom/focus options. The internal cooling design and signal backup functionality maintain stability during extended runs, while an IP6X dust-proof optical engine reduces maintenance needs. Integrated software and remote management tools enable efficient system control and monitoring.
