The Appotronics SK13KAS is a large-venue laser projector designed to deliver high-brightness 4K and WUXGA imaging for cinemas, auditoriums, and immersive installations. It uses an ALPD 5.0 RGBX full-spectrum laser engine to extend color gamut and maintain consistent brightness over long runtimes. The SK13KAS combines high output and precise geometry control to meet demanding projection requirements.
Key features include a full-color RGBX laser with an enhanced red light ratio to achieve more than 110% of Rec.709 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The optical engine is IP6X dust-proof for maintenance-free operation and carries NFC pre-configuration to speed initial setup. Built-in multi-mode geometric corrections and motorized lens options allow accurate mapping onto irregular surfaces.
Performance specifications include native 4K/WUXGA resolution support, center brightness in the 13000-14000 lumen range, uniformity of at least 92%, and a rated laser lifetime of approximately 20,000 hours. The projector supports screen sizes from 70” to 800” and offers edge blending and multi-point geometric correction up to 33×33 points. Thermal and internal cooling designs stabilize moving parts and extend reliable operation.
Connectivity is comprehensive with dual HDMI 2.0 inputs capable of 4K/60P, DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.2 4K/60P, and an optional HDBaseT 1.0 input. Professional control interfaces include Ethernet RJ45, RS232, USB-B debug, IR remote in/out and USB-A expansion. 3D sync in/out and IR 3D out are provided for specialized 3D playback setups.
The SK13KAS is suited to large-venue projection, immersive media installations, simulation and training centers, and fixed-install staging environments. Its high lumen output and wide color gamut ensure vivid, accurate imagery in bright environments. Edge blending, motorized lens control, and advanced geometry correction make it suitable for multi-projector arrays and unconventional screen shapes.
Installation is simplified by a compact chassis and a full range of optional motorized lenses covering 0.7:1 through 3.8:1 throw ratios and beyond. NFC pre-configuration reduces on-site setup time and the projector supports 360 degree installation orientations. Signal backup and redundant features improve uptime and reduce the need for frequent maintenance.
