The MK650A is a 4K UHD laser projector engineered to deliver high-fidelity imagery for immersive environments. It uses Appotronics ALPD5.0 laser illumination to achieve vivid color reproduction and long operational life. The projector is available in output tiers including a 6,500 lumen center brightness model.
Key features include ALPD5.0 laser light source, a DLP 0.47” DMD 4K (3840×2160) panel, and a red light ratio above 12 percent for improved color balance. The unit supports powered lens options and advanced geometric correction including multi-point and curved surface correction. MEMC motion compensation and AI PQ image enhancement provide smoother motion and optimized picture quality.
Technical performance highlights include 20,000 hours expected laser lifetime, contrast of ≥100,000:1, 95 percent uniformity, and Rec.709 color gamut coverage. The MK650A supports input resolutions up to 4K 60Hz and 1080P 120Hz, and offers optical axis shift of +/-100% vertical and +/-40% horizontal. Screen sizing covers 80-300” depending on lens selection.
Connectivity is comprehensive with HDMI inputs, HDMI output, USB-A, S/PDIF audio, LAN(RJ45), RS232(DB9), 3D SYNC in/out and USB-B for control and integration. The projector accepts multiple optional lenses including 0.5:1 manual and motorized zoom lenses covering 0.7-2.48:1 throw ratios. Power is universal 100~240VAC 50/60Hz and the standard power consumption is listed per model.
Typical applications include golf simulators and immersive visual spaces where accurate motion and color consistency are required. The MK650A is well suited to multi-screen and irregular-surface projection environments thanks to built-in multi-mode geometric correction and multi-screen color uniformity. It is also applicable in fixed-install commercial projection where maintenance-free operation is preferred.
Installation is simplified by powered lens options and broad optical axis shift to accommodate challenging mounts and throw distances. The optical engine is IP6X dust-proof and the unit incorporates patented internal cooling for stable long-term operation. The mechanical design supports 360 degree installation orientations and a normal-mode noise level around 36dB.
