Description

The E-Vision 16000i WU is a high-brightness professional laser phosphor projector designed for large-venue and fixed-install AV applications. It combines a new 0.8in HEP DMD from Texas Instruments with Colorboost+Red laser technology to extend colour gamut and improve native red reproduction. The optical path is fully sealed to IP6x standards to preserve brightness and colour performance over time.

Key features include 16000 ISO / 14500 ANSI lumen output, WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution and a quoted 20000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The projector uses dual high-speed phosphor wheels and a four-segment RGBY colour wheel to deliver consistent colour and brightness. Nexus electronics provide 10-bit processing, HDR support and advanced colour management including seven-point correction.

On the imaging side the 0.8in HEP DMD provides improved tilt angle and filled vias to reduce light scatter and boost native contrast. Video handling supports 24p, 1080p native presentation and DisplayPort/HDMI 2.0 inputs for modern sources. The projector supports 4K-UHD input up to 60Hz and can display WQXGA graphics sources via DisplayPort.

Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, HDBaseT for up to 100m over CAT5e/6, and 3G-SDI in/out for broadcast workflows. Control and monitoring options include LAN/Web, RS232, IR and Art-Net for lighting and stage integration. HDBaseT includes Ethernet 100BaseT and RS232/IR passthrough for simplified installation.

Typical applications include rental and staging, auditoria, museums and simulation environments where sustained high brightness and accurate colour are required. The sealed optics and filterless, radiator-based cooling system reduce maintenance and enable reliable 24/7 operation. Motorised lenses and intelligent lens memory simplify multi-screen and venue changes.

Installation is supported by a centred motorised lens mount, programmable shift/zoom/focus and multiple optional lenses covering ultra-short to long throw ratios. The chassis supports front/rear table or ceiling mounting and includes six M4 mounting points for secure rigging. Overall the E-Vision 16000i WU delivers high light output, extended colour gamut and installation flexibility for demanding professional AV environments.
