Description

The E-Vision 15000i 4K+ is a high-brightness laser phosphor projector designed for demanding professional AV installations and large-venue playback. It delivers 15000 ISO / 13500 ANSI lumens and leverages Texas Instruments 0.8″ HEP DMD pixel-shift to produce a 4K+ image. The optics are fully sealed IP6x to preserve light output and color stability over time.

Key features include Colorboost+Red laser augmentation, an 0.8″ HEP DMD with increased tilt and filled vias, and an 8-segment colour wheel paired to dual phosphor wheels for accurate color reproduction. The projector supports 10-bit colour processing with 30-bit per-pixel precision and HDR content handling. A selectable Dynamic Black mode and a reported 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio help maintain deep blacks in mixed-light scenes.

Performance specifications include native 1920 x 1200 DMD operation and 3840 x 2400 effective resolution via four-way pixel shift, an aspect ratio of 16×10 and a fill factor of 87%. The illumination source is laser phosphor rated for approximately 20,000 hours typical life and an ECO mode that supports up to 80% brightness. Fan noise is typically 40 dBA in normal mode and a max of 39 dBA in Eco mode, and the unit supports continuous 24/7 operation under recommended conditions.

Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.2, 12G-SDI IN/OUT and HDBaseT including Ethernet 100BaseT plus RS232/IR control. Inputs include dual HDMI and dual DisplayPort along with single 12G-SDI in and out connectors and an RJ45 HDBaseT port for runs up to 100m over CAT5e/6. Control and monitoring options include LAN/Web control, Crestron Connected, PJLink Class 1 compatibility, Art-Net and RS-232 integration.

This projector is suited to large auditoria, simulation environments, fixed installation cinemas and live events where brightness, sealed optics and color fidelity are priorities. It supports a wide range of video standards including HDTV 1080p, 4K-UHD 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz and DCI 4K 4096 x 2160. Lens options and motorised lens memory allow integration into multi-projector arrays and complex projection geometries.

Installation is simplified by a centered motorised lens mount with programmable lens memory for up to 10 presets and motorised shift/zoom/focus control. Geometry tools include vertical and horizontal keystone, four-corner adjustment, rotation steps of +/-0.25 degrees and custom warp plus edge blending. The sealed, filterless optical engine reduces maintenance and supports reliable long-term operation in professional environments.
