The Eris Studio 8 is an 8-inch 2-way active studio monitor designed to deliver accurate, detailed sound reproduction for critical listening and mixing. It combines a woven-composite low-frequency driver and an ultra-low-mass silk-dome tweeter to reproduce full-range audio with clarity and precision. The monitor is engineered to provide a broad horizontal dispersion while minimizing desk reflections for a stable listening sweet spot.

Key features include a custom EBM waveguide that provides 120 degree horizontal dispersion and 60 degree vertical dispersion to widen the listening area. The system is biamplified with a total of 140W of Class AB power allocated between LF and HF sections for dynamic headroom and transient accuracy. Front-firing porting and internal bracing help extend low-frequency response and reduce cabinet resonance.

Technical performance covers a frequency response down to 35 Hz and up to 20 kHz, with a peak SPL of 106 dB at 1 meter. The HF transducer is a 1.25-inch silk-dome tweeter and the LF driver is an 8-inch woven glass fiber composite cone. A 3.5 kHz crossover frequency balances the two drivers and tuning options let you adapt the monitor to your room.

Connectivity options include balanced XLR and balanced 1/4-inch TRS inputs plus unbalanced RCA inputs to accommodate audio interfaces, mixers, and consumer playback devices. The monitor uses an internal power supply with an IEC power connector and includes protections such as RF interference suppression, output-current limiting, over-temperature protection, transient protection, and subsonic filtering. Acoustic tuning controls let you adjust HF, midrange, acoustic space and a selectable highpass filter.
