Description
The KG0032 is a 32-port KVM over IP gateway that provides secure remote access and management of multiple servers from any networked location. It consolidates server access into a single management portal and supports concurrent independent remote sessions to eliminate waiting and shared-bus contention. The appliance uses an all-digital KVM over IP architecture to maintain stable, low-latency video and reliable control across long-distance connections.
Key capabilities include 32 independent remote connections, dual onboard 10G NICs for redundancy, and accelerated virtual media that enables large file transfers significantly faster than traditional KVM solutions. The gateway supports high-resolution video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz when paired with compatible DigiProcessor endpoints and extends KVM signals over Cat 5e/6 cabling to 100 meters. Security features include TLS 1.3 and an embedded FIPS 140-3 certified OpenSSL module plus support for RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory authentication.
Performance specifications deliver distortion-free and near-zero-latency video streaming, hardware-level mouse and keyboard emulation, and BIOS-level remote access for troubleshooting. Virtual media supports USB2.0 DVD/CD, USB mass storage, PC hard drives and ISO images and can complete a 1 GB transfer in about one minute under expected conditions. The gateway provides extensive telemetry and system alerts via the front-panel LCD display, LEDs and event notification systems.
Connectivity is comprehensive: 32 RJ-45 KVM ports, two SFP+ uplink slots, dual IEC power inlets, USB Type-A ports reserved for expansion and serial management connectors. Management options include a full WinClient AP for advanced KVM functions and an HTML5 WebClient for browser-based access without client installation. The KG0032 integrates with ATEN CC2000 centralized management and CCVSR video session recording for auditing, session replay and centralized configuration.
Typical use cases include remote data center administration, out-of-band BIOS-level troubleshooting when the production network is down, and centralized management of mixed Windows Mac and Linux server environments. The gateway reduces mean time to repair by enabling remote diagnosis and updates while minimizing travel and on-site interventions. Administrators can monitor arrays of servers in real time and control individual systems as needed.
Installation and operation are optimized for rack environments with a 1U chassis, efficient airflow design, hot-pluggable redundant power supplies and automatic fan speed control. Firmware is upgradeable and event logs can be forwarded to log servers or saved locally to USB. The KG0032 is engineered for reliability and secure deployment in regulated sectors requiring strong cryptography and centralized access control.
