The RE90P-18 is a phantom-powered back-electret miniature condenser gooseneck microphone designed for podiums and lecterns. It delivers a tailored cardioid polar response optimized for speech and close-up pickup. The slim 18in gooseneck and low-profile base make it unobtrusive on stage or at a lectern.

Its back-electret capsule provides increased sensitivity and wider frequency response compared to diaphragm-electret designs. The cardioid pattern offers high resistance to feedback and consistent off-axis rejection. The machined steel electronics housing reduces EMI and RFI interference for cleaner audio in electrically noisy environments.

Performance specifications include a frequency response of 70 Hz to 15 kHz at close distance and 100 Hz to 15 kHz at longer close distances, 4.5 mV/Pa sensitivity at 1 kHz, and a 102 dB dynamic range. The microphone requires 9 to 52 V phantom power and presents a low 200 ohm output suitable for long cable runs. These characteristics yield natural speech reproduction and reliable headroom during public address use.

Connectivity is simple and direct via the integrated XLR 3-pin male connector at the base for plug-in panel mounting.
