The BG-8K-AE is a high-performance 48Gbps eARC audio adapter engineered to extract audio from an HDMI source or a TV with ARC/eARC functionality and route it to an AV receiver, soundbar, or stereo system. It supports HDMI audio de-embedding to HDMI, digital S/PDIF, or analog L/R outputs, offering seamless audio distribution for modern AV setups.
Fully compliant with HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3, this adapter supports data rates up to 48Gbps, with resolutions up to 8K@60Hz 4:2:0 12-bit and 4K@120Hz 4:4:4 12-bit. It also enables pass-through of advanced HDR formats – including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG—as well as support for VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT, and SBTM for enhanced video performance.
Designed for effortless integration, the BG-8K-AE includes advanced EDID management, cable equalization, and CEC control, allowing for volume and source control directly from the TV. Whether de-embedding full-quality Dolby Atmos/DTS:X audio to a SONOS ARC, Beam, or eARC-enabled sound system, or routing standard stereo to a 2.0/5.1-channel amplifier, this adapter is a versatile solution for both home theater and professional AV installations.
