Description

The Dynacord V600:2 is a compact 2-channel power amplifier delivering a total PowerTANK capacity of 600 W. It combines a Class D output stage with professional power supply and protection features to support distributed audio systems. The design focuses on clear voice reproduction and reliable background music reproduction in commercial environments.

PowerTANK technology provides a shared reservoir of amplification power that dynamically allocates energy across both channels. Variable Load Drive (VLD) ensures consistent power delivery into 4 Ohm, 8 Ohm, 70 V and 100 V loads. Energy-saving features EcoRAIL and Auto Power Down reduce consumption during low-level operation or extended idle periods.

The amplifier delivers up to 500 W into 4 Ohm and up to 600 W into 8 Ohm or 100 V under power sharing conditions, with THD+N under 0.1% at 1 kHz and 1/8 rated output. Signal to noise ratios exceed 100 dB depending on load and damping factor remains high for tight speaker control. A switching power supply with power factor correction supports efficient Class D operation.

Inputs include a 6-pin 3.81 mm Euroblock balanced analog connector and an RJ45 AES72-1E compatible port for single-cable installations. Loudspeaker outputs use a 4-pin 5.08 mm Euroblock terminal and mains use an IEC C14 inlet. A 5-pin control port provides Remote On and galvanic isolated Ready/Fault relay contacts.

The V600:2 is suitable for classrooms, retail environments, hospitality venues, and houses of worship requiring intelligible voice paging and low-profile background music. Its compact half-rack width and one RU height make it ideal for under-counter or space-constrained racks. The unit supports distributed multi-zone systems that benefit from flexible power allocation and reduced operational costs.

Installation and operation are simplified by included single- or dual-rack mounting brackets and a convection-first DualCOOL thermal design that engages an intelligent fan in extreme conditions. Front-panel LEDs report signal, limit and fault conditions per channel to aid commissioning and troubleshooting. Comprehensive protection includes audio limiters, DC and HF protection, short-circuit and mains over/under voltage safeguards to ensure long-term reliability.
