Description

The Wall-Mount Adapter is a flush in-wall mounting solution engineered to house iPad Air 4 and 5, iPad Pro 11 3rd and 4th generation, and iPad Air 11 M2. It securely recesses the device 1.4mm into the wall surface while preserving touchscreen access and device controls. This unit is supplied unpainted to be finished as part of the wall surface.

Key features include a recessed profile, paintable moisture-resistant MDF construction, and a depth calibration mechanism to align the tablet precisely with the finished wall. The adapter does not include audio grills and supports easy insertion and removal of the iPad. The wall mount can be oriented in any direction to suit installation requirements.

The adapter includes an integrated POE-to-USB converter for charging; installers must connect the unit to an IEEE 802.3at POE+ source via CAT5/6 and RJ45. Verify the POE source can deliver up to 25.5W to ensure reliable charging. Standard mounts provide charging only; Ethernet-capable variants are available as a separate SKU.

Installation is designed for 1/2in drywall using standard drywall construction techniques and is straightforward for AV installers and contractors. For 5/8in drywall, use the 1/8in shim pack P/N 10-01-067 sold separately. For concrete or block walls use the CONCRETE BOX 373X268 P/N 100-1-682 sold separately and follow the manufacturer installation instructions.

The adapter is compatible with listed Apple iPad models while maintaining a low-profile aesthetic suitable for residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate AV installations. The paintable finish allows the mount to blend with any wall color or texture after installation. The mount provides secure physical retention while enabling routine removal for servicing or reconfiguration.

Built from moisture-resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI, the unit weighs approximately 1.3kg (2.86lbs) and measures 372mm x 266.7mm x 38.9mm (W/H/D).
