The KG1900T USB VGA KVM DigiProcessor is a compact, bus-powered KVM endpoint that links an ATEN KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway to a target computer. It digitizes and compensates VGA signals to deliver clear video up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz in 24-bit color. The unit is purpose-built for space-constrained racks and zero-U installations.
Key features include distortion-free video transmission over Cat5e/6 up to 100 m, onboard Virtual Media with high transfer rates, and firmware upgradeability. The DigiProcessor uses a dedicated SoC for efficient video compression and supports Smart Card / CAC readers. The aluminum die-cast shroud and passive cooling features help maintain reliability without fans.
Performance specifications include support for 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz resolution and 24-bit color depth, Virtual Media Read at 265 Mbps and Write at 188 Mbps, and a bus-powered design that draws 4.73 W at DC 5 V. LED indicators provide link, network speed and power status while a semi-recessed reset button enables local recovery. The unit measures 12.20 x 5.80 x 2.58 cm and weighs 0.30 kg.
Connectivity includes 1 x RJ-45 Link (KVM), 1 x RJ-45 SP (reserved for future expansion), 2 x USB Type-A male connections for keyboard/mouse and Virtual Media, and 1 x HDB-15 male VGA connector. The device requires a direct connection to KG0016 or KG0032 gateways without any network switch between endpoints. The SP port must remain unused until future firmware or hardware updates enable it.
The KG1900T is suited to server rooms, control rooms and production environments where remote BIOS-level access and reliable video monitoring are required. It supports Virtual Media to accelerate firmware updates and file transfers, reducing on-site visits and MTTR. The compact form factor and SR hanger simplify neat rack deployment and cable management in dense installations.
Installation is plug-and-play with no external power adapter required, enabling rapid deployment in existing racks.
