Description
The PG95230B2 is a 3-phase metered eco PDU designed to deliver precise power distribution for high-density racks and data center deployments. It provides 30 IEC outlets in a 0U rack housing and accurate kWh metering to help monitor and manage energy usage. This PDU is purpose-built to support sustainable energy practices while maintaining uptime.
Key features include an ARM Cortex-A8 controller, bank-level metering for current, voltage, power factor and kWh, and hot-swappable LCD console for on-site alerts and status. The unit supports dual LAN ports at 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps, a COM port, USB connectivity and an RJ-45 sensor port for up to eight environmental sensors. Outlets are available with secure locking enhancement to avoid accidental disconnection.
Performance is engineered for accuracy and reliability – the PG95230B2 provides kWh metering with +/-1% accuracy and powers connected equipment in under 10 seconds after input is applied. Input power capacity is rated at 7205VA max and 5764VA UL de-rated. Outlet current ratings are C13 15A max (12A UL de-rated) and C19 20A max (16A UL de-rated).
Connectivity options include dual Ethernet ports, support for SNMP v1/v2/v3, Modbus over TCP/IP, Telnet, HTTPS and other standard network protocols. The sensor port accepts daisy-chained environment sensors for temperature, humidity, airflow, differential pressure and leak detection. The PDU also supports JSON-RPC and Python scripting for programmatic control and automation.
Typical applications include enterprise server racks, network closets and colocation facilities where detailed energy monitoring and secure power distribution are required. The PG95230B2 is suited to environments that need cascading PDU management and centralized control, with support for up to 64 cascaded PDUs and future PON integration for KN KVM switches.
Installation and maintenance are optimized for rack environments – the PDU includes a rotatable 90-degree adjustable power cord, a rotatable 180-degree LCD, hot-swappable console panel and colored LCD stickers for feed identification. Built for continuous operation, it meets UL and PSE safety verifications and includes a three-year warranty to support long-term deployments.
