The CS1184DP4 is a 4-port USB DisplayPort secure KVM switch designed to share a single keyboard, mouse, monitor and speaker across multiple isolated systems while enforcing strict security controls. It is NIAP PSD PP v4.0 compliant and built to prevent data leakage between connected computers. The unit is manufactured in Taiwan and meets TAA requirements for secure deployments.
Key features include true data path isolation and unidirectional data flow between the console and the selected system, always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable if tampering is detected, and tamper-evident labeling for visual integrity checks. The switch enforces non-reprogrammable firmware and restricted peripheral connectivity, rejecting non-authorized USB HID and video devices. Device filtration can be administratively configured to allow only approved HID devices.
Video support reaches up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz, and Video DynaSync optimizes display resolutions and eliminates boot-up display issues when switching sources. Audio support is limited to analog speaker output only and includes strict audio filtration to prevent audio data leakage. Keyboard and mouse data are automatically deleted after transmission and purged when focus switches to maintain user data protection.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort and USB Type-B connections to host systems and a DisplayPort/USB/analog speaker console interface. Port selection is limited to front-panel pushbuttons or an optional Remote Port Selector via RJ-11 to reduce attack surface from remote control methods. LEDs provide clear status feedback for power, selected ports and peripheral filtering states.
