Description
The CS1184D4C is a secure 4-port USB DVI KVM switcher designed to isolate and share a single keyboard, mouse, monitor and speaker set between multiple classified systems. It provides hardware-enforced security features compliant with PSD PP v4.0 and certified by NIAP. The unit is TAA eligible and built for environments that require strict data separation and tamper protection.
Key features include always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable upon tampering, tamper-evident labels, non-reprogrammable firmware and configurable device filtration. The switcher restricts unauthorized HID or authentication device connections and enforces unidirectional data flow to prevent data leakage. Front panel pushbuttons and an optional Remote Port Selector are the only port selection methods allowed to maximize physical security.
Video support reaches up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz on compatible HDMI-interfaced setups using ATEN DVI-to-HDMI cables, with DVI Dual Link and Single Link legacy resolutions also supported. Audio is limited to analog speaker output only and is subject to strict audio filtration to prevent covert channels. Keyboard and mouse HID data are automatically deleted after transmission and purged on port switches to protect user data.
Connectivity includes DVI-I console and computer ports, USB Type-A console CAC port, USB Type-B KVM ports, analog mini stereo jacks for audio, and an RJ-11 port for an optional Remote Port Selector. Administrative functions enable CAC port filtering, keyboard/mouse HID filtering, per-port CAC enable/disable and KVM log auditing. LED indicators provide status for power, video, KVM port selection and CAC port status.
The CS1184D4C is intended for deployment in government, defense, intelligence, healthcare and financial environments where physical and logical separation of networks is required. Its tamper-proof design and PSD PP v4.0 compliance make it appropriate for secure desktops and classified workstations.
