The CS1182DP4C is a PSD PP v4.0 compliant secure KVM switch designed to share a single keyboard, mouse, monitor and CAC reader between two isolated computer systems. It enforces strict data isolation and unidirectional data flow to prevent any data leakage between connected sources. Key features include PSD PP v4.0 certification, always-on chassis intrusion detection, non-reprogrammable firmware and configurable device filtration to accept or reject specific USB authentication and HID devices. The switch supports manual port selection via front panel pushbuttons or a Remote Port Selector to eliminate remote switching vectors. LED indicators provide clear status for KVM ports, CAC ports, video and key lock conditions.
Video performance supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and incorporates Video DynaSync to optimize console output and eliminate boot-up display mismatches. Audio is strictly filtered and limited to analog speaker output to prevent audio-based data exfiltration. Keyboard and mouse data are auto-purged after transmission and on port switching to protect user input data.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort console output, USB Type-A console ports, a front-panel USB CAC port and multiple USB Type-B and DisplayPort KVM ports for two computer connections. The unit provides a dedicated RJ-11 Remote Port Selector port and uses a standard 3-prong AC socket for power.
