It prevents direct data transfer between connected systems by using unidirectional data paths and administrative device filtering. Key security features include always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable if tampering is detected, tamper-evident labels, and non-reprogrammable firmware to prevent unauthorized modification.
