The Cherry Bomb Galaxy is a weatherized in-ground bollard speaker engineered to deliver full-range outdoor audio in a compact footprint. It integrates a 5.25in band-pass subwoofer, a 4.5in woofer, and a 0.75in tweeter in a single direct-burial enclosure. This design provides coherent phase-matched sound across the frequency spectrum and reduces typical sub placement phasing issues.
Designed as a patented 3-way system, the speaker provides tight frequency transition and consistent coverage across outdoor listening areas. The built-in sub extends low-frequency response to 38 Hz at -10 dB while the tweeter and midrange reproduce clarity up to 22 kHz. A rotary tap switch supports 70.7 V / 100 V distributed systems and an 8 ohm bypass for low-voltage installs.
Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 84 dB referenced to 1 W/1 m and a maximum continuous RMS power handling of 64 W with 128 W program power. Maximum sound pressure level reaches 101 dB at 1 m. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms and the frequency response is 38 Hz – 22 kHz (-10 dB) and 54 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB).
Connectivity is via wire leads for straightforward integration into existing outdoor audio systems and commercial 70.7 V / 100 V lines. The roto-molded polyethylene enclosure and powder-coated aluminum grille provide weatherproof protection and IP65 ingress rating for reliable outdoor operation. The unit is CE and RoHS certified.
This bollard speaker is suited to pool areas, patios, courtyards, residential backyards, and small outdoor venues where compact aesthetics and full-range performance are required. Its integrated sub eliminates the need for remote sub placement and simplifies system tuning and coverage planning. The compact below-ground profile reduces excavation requirements during installation.
Installation is simplified by direct-burial design and a small below-ground footprint that requires a smaller hole. Included cover plate and wire nuts speed connection and concealment.
