The ZX3-60W is a 12 inch passive loudspeaker designed to deliver clear full-range sound in a compact enclosure. It combines a 12 in DVX3121 low-frequency driver and a neodymium compression driver to reproduce speech and music with low distortion. This model provides a 60×60 coverage pattern and a high maximum SPL for demanding venues.
Key features include a DVX3121 12 in LF transducer with forced-air voice coil cooling and an ND2 compression driver with a 1 in exit. The enclosure uses injection-molded polypropylene structural foam for impact resistance and rigidity. The cabinet also supports two monitor angles – 45deg and 55deg – without additional hardware.
Performance metrics include a frequency response of 58 Hz – 15 kHz (-3 dB) and an extended range to 48 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB). The passive power handling is rated at 600W continuous and 2400W peak, with a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB. Sensitivity is 97 dB (1W/1m) and the nominal impedance is 8 Ohms.
Connectivity options are simple and robust with two Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors for secure speaker cabling. The enclosure also includes multiple suspension points – M8 inserts and anchor plate locations – for permanent or temporary rigging. The grille is a 16GA galvanized steel panel with polyester powder coat and a rotatable logo.
Typical applications include small to medium houses of worship, portable PA for live sound reinforcement, installed foreground monitoring, and distributed audio in corporate or educational spaces. The 60×60 coverage pattern makes the ZX3-60W well suited to both long-throw and clustered installations. Its 131 dB SPL capability supports speech reinforcement and musical playback in challenging acoustic environments.
Installation and serviceability are simplified by a lightweight but durable 19.8 kg (43.7 lb) enclosure and multiple suspension options.
