The ZX1I-100W is an 8 inch, two-way passive full-range speaker engineered for reliable indoor and outdoor audio reinforcement. It delivers clear mid and high frequency detail while providing extended low-frequency response from a long-excursion woofer. The weatherized ABS enclosure and hydrophobic grille cloth protect the transducers and hardware in exposed environments.
Key features include a 100 x 100 degree rotatable horn for broad coverage, a DH2005 1 in compression driver for high output, and an EV8L 8 in treated cone woofer for smooth LF response. A velocity-compensated port design extends bass performance beyond typical compact cabinets. Full-bandwidth overload protection and an engineered crossover ensure stable operation at high SPLs.
Technical performance includes a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and a maximum calculated SPL of 123 dB. The nominal impedance is 8 ohm with a minimum of 6 ohm, and the recommended high-pass filter is 40 Hz to protect the driver and amplifier. The system power rating is 200 W continuous, 400 W program, and 800 W peak.
Connectivity is provided via a weatherized 4-pin Phoenix connector and an optional input panel cover with gland nut for additional protection. The ‘T’ transformer version offers multiple 70 V and 100 V wattage taps plus an 8 ohm bypass option for distributed-line installations. The integrated QuickSAM heavy-duty strong-arm mount simplifies secure placement and aiming.
