The ZX1-90W is a passive 2-way full-range PA loudspeaker designed to deliver clear vocal and instrument reproduction in live sound and installed AV applications. It combines an 8 in woofer and a 1 in compression driver in a weather-resistant enclosure to provide reliable performance in a compact package. The rotatable horn and wedge-angle enclosure enable both pole mounting and stage monitoring roles.
Key features include a rotatable 90 x 50 deg horn, an 8 in weatherized woofer, and a 1 in titanium compression driver that offers extended HF clarity. The cabinet is bass-reflex tuned using a velocity-compensated port to improve low-frequency output relative to other small-format loudspeakers. Built-in full-bandwidth overload protection helps safeguard the drivers from damaging input levels.
Technically the speaker handles 200 W RMS continuous power with 800 W peak capability and a 400 W program rating. Frequency response extends to 60 Hz to 20 kHz at -3 dB and 48 Hz to 20 kHz at -10 dB, producing a maximum SPL of 123 dB and a sensitivity of 94 dB. A 1700 Hz crossover point separates the woofer and compression driver to maintain coherent full-range reproduction.
Connectivity is provided via dual speakON NL4 inputs for reliable professional cabling and parallel linking. The enclosure includes an integrated pole socket and four fly points for multiple mounting or rigging methods. The rotatable horn allows the same cabinet to be used in vertical or horizontal orientations to match venue coverage requirements.
