The Yarden 6-O is a 6.5in on-wall 2-way speaker pair designed to deliver clear speech and music reproduction in installed audio systems. It combines a cone woofer and a 1in titanium dome tweeter to produce a wide frequency response and controlled dispersion. The speaker includes selectable transformer taps enabling 8Ohm or 70V/100V operation for flexible system design.
Key features include a 6.5in woofer, a 1in titanium tweeter, and a 1.9kHz crossover that balances low-frequency impact with high-frequency clarity. The multi-tap power transformer provides 70V and 100V taps plus a Lo-Z bypass for 8Ohm operation. Sensitivity and power handling are specified to support typical commercial audio levels while limiting distortion.
Technically the speakers cover 65Hz to 20kHz at -10dB and 83Hz to 20kHz at +/-3dB, with a sensitivity of 86dB SPL at 1W/1m. Power handling is rated at 80W RMS with 220W continuous program capability and a continuous maximum SPL of 104dB. The crossover frequency is 1.9kHz and the directivity Q and DI are specified for predictable dispersion characteristics.
Connectivity is provided via terminal blocks for secure wiring and transformer selection is handled on-board with clearly labeled taps. The enclosure uses an aluminum grill, steel brackets and an ABS cabinet for reliable mounting and acoustic stability. The design supports both low-impedance amplifier connections and distributed line-level 70V/100V systems.
Typical applications include conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, hotels and restaurants where discreet on-wall installation and distributed audio capability are required. The speakers are supplied as a pair and can be installed as single units or as part of an array in larger venues. Their frequency response and SPL ratings make them suitable for foreground and background audio tasks.
Installation is simplified by the included mounting brackets and hardware and the compact cabinet footprint. The speakers operate in ambient temperatures from 0 to +40°C and tolerate storage extremes to -40 to +70°C.
