Description

The VS-R264 is a standalone Full HD audio/video encoder and decoder designed to stream, record, and decode live video over IP. It encodes 1920x1080p video using H.264 and supports simultaneous streaming and local recording to SD, USB, or internal storage. The unit is compact and operates independently without a dedicated PC – ideal for reliable 24/7 AV distribution.

Key capabilities include H.264 long GOP encoding up to 30 Mbps, 3 simultaneous RTMP outputs for simulcast and backup, and support for RTMP RTSP HLS RTP UDP streaming protocols. The VS-R264 also embeds digital audio in HDMI and accepts balanced analog inputs for professional audio integration. Recording formats include MPEG2-TS and MP4 allowing native archive and delivery options.

Performance details include selectable encode scaling up to 1920x1080p, frame rate limiting, adjustable keyframe intervals, and variable or constant bit rate control from 500 kbps to 30 Mbps.
