The VS-81H is an 8×1 HDMI switcher designed to select one of eight HDMI sources and present a single output. It reclocks and equalizes HDMI signals to maintain image integrity across longer cable runs. The unit supports HDCP and common HDMI audio formats to ensure compatibility with protected content.
Key features include HDMI signal equalization and re-clocking, intelligent EDID handling, and selectable PC/DVD input modes. The switcher supports 3D pass-through and deep color capabilities enabling accurate reproduction of modern video formats. Front-panel and remote control options provide flexible operation in live and installed environments.
Performance is supported by a 2.25Gbps bandwidth per graphic channel and compliant HDMI signaling allowing resolutions up to UXGA and 1080p. The device supports HDMI 1.3a signaling and implements HDCP compliance for protected content playback. Kramer equalization and re-Klocking technology rebuilds the HDMI signal for extended reach and consistent performance.
Connectivity includes eight HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, plus RS-232 and Ethernet control ports. The unit ships with an IR remote control and supports front panel selection and RS-232 automation. EDID management via I-EDIDPro ensures plug-and-play interoperability between varied sources and displays.
The VS-81H is suited to presentation rooms, classrooms, and small AV racks where multiple HDMI sources must be switched to a single display. It handles source switching for set-top boxes, media players, and PCs while preserving audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The device supports integration into control systems via RS-232 or Ethernet for centralized operation.
Installation is straightforward in a standard 19 inch 1U rack using the supplied rack ears and worldwide power supply. Front panel lockout and video disconnect provide control and safety during operation and setup. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
