Description
The VS-411X is a 4×1 HDMI auto switcher designed to select among four HDMI sources and output a single 4K HDR feed to a display. It detects active video signals and switches automatically according to user-configured schemes such as priority or last-connected input. Manual front-panel switching is supported and overrides auto mode when required.
The unit supports HDMI 2.0 signal features including deep color, x.v.Color, CEC, lip sync and 3D. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant and passes HDMI uncompressed audio and advanced audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The switcher includes intelligent EDID handling via I-EDIDPro to ensure reliable source-display handshakes.
Audio handling includes multi-channel digital switching supporting up to 32 channels and an audio de-embed function that converts the digital HDMI audio to an analog stereo unbalanced output. The de-embedded analog output enables local speaker playback in parallel to the HDMI audio on the display. Status LEDs on the HDMI ports aid in quick local diagnostics.
Connectivity includes four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, local front-panel buttons for manual control and support for contact-closure remote buttons. The device performs active signal detection and supports switching modes including priority and last-connected schemes. Local firmware upgrade capability helps keep the unit up to date in the field.
The VS-411X is suitable for small to medium meeting rooms, training rooms and general AV distribution environments where automatic input selection and local audio output are required. Its compact DemiTOOLS fan-less enclosure allows table placement or side-by-side mounting of two units in 1U rack space with Kramer rack adapter. Status LEDs and simple controls reduce maintenance time for integrators and AV staff.
Installation is straightforward with plug-and-play operation thanks to I-EDIDPro intelligent EDID management and auto switching modes.
