The VP-424C is a compact digital scaler that accepts HDMI and USB-C video sources and outputs a scaled HDMI signal. It upscales or downscales video to resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and supports HDMI 2.0 features. The unit is designed to provide consistent sync and reliable scaling in AV systems.
The scaler supports HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 and implements CEC as specified in HDMI 2.0. It offers automatic or manual source selection, built-in ProcAmp controls for image adjustment, and constant sync on the output even when the input is interrupted. Front panel controls and an OSD make local configuration straightforward.
Performance specifications include a maximum aggregated data rate of 18Gbps and 6Gbps per graphic channel, enabling uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 operation where supported. The scaler provides precise resolution handling and EDID read/store capabilities to match sink device requirements. All settings are retained in non-volatile memory to maintain configuration after power cycles.
Connectivity includes HDMI and USB-C inputs and a single HDMI output, plus a USB-A port for local firmware updates.
