The V600:4 is a four-channel rackmount power amplifier designed to deliver flexible multi-zone amplification for commercial audio systems. It provides a shared 600W powerTANK that allocates power dynamically across four outputs to match varying load demands. The unit is intended for background music, paging and distributed audio scenarios where predictable audio performance and low operating costs are required.
Key features include Dynacord powerTANK technology and Variable Load Drive (VLD) which ensure the amplifier delivers consistent power into 4 ohm, 8 ohm, 70 V and 100 V loads. The built-in DSP offers input routing plus per-channel high-pass and low-pass filters and peak limiting to protect loudspeakers and maintain clarity. Thermal management combines convection cooling with an intelligent multispeed fan for extreme conditions.
Performance metrics are optimized for installed sound systems: Class-D amplification with four channels rated at 150 W each and a total 600 W powerTANK capacity. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and THD+N is specified at 0.1% or less. Signal-to-noise ratios exceed 98 dB at 4 ohms and improve to greater than 103 dB in some configurations, supporting low-noise background music and paging applications.
Connectivity includes two balanced line inputs on 6-pin block connectors, an AmpLINK RJ45 port for single-cable installation of all four channels, and a proprietary 5-pin remote input for control. The amplifier does not provide digital audio inputs, USB or phantom power and is designed to integrate with standard analog source devices and networked control systems. IEC mains power and PFC ensure stable operation across 100 to 240 VAC supplies.
The V600:4 suits retail, hospitality, corporate and light-commercial AV installations that need multiple zones from a single chassis. It supports constant-voltage speaker systems at 70 V and 100 V as well as low-impedance loudspeakers at 4 and 8 ohms. Typical applications include retail background music, restaurant paging, meeting room audio reinforcement and small house-of-worship systems.
Installation is simplified by the 1U rack profile, single-cable AmpLINK option and compact 3.6 kg chassis. ecoRAIL and Auto Power Down modes lower power draw during idle periods and standby to reduce operating costs. Protections include DC fault, short-circuit, overcurrent, thermal and supply safeguards to ensure reliable long-term operation in commercial environments.
